Thanks for visiting the guestbook page with the new guestbook. We transferred the messages from the old site to our new guestbook, so, if you posted in the past, you should still see your good words here, along with the date you orginially posted it just below your posting. We had to manually enter the original dates, but they should be all there.
There's more than one page, so just go to the drop down menu to scroll through the pages
Sorry we couldn't salvage the entries from the original site a few years back. If you posted then, please post again.
New visitors, return visitors, feel welcome to leave a message in the guestbook.
We read them all.
Just scroll down and you can't miss it.
We love to hear from you.

I've been looking for Living In a State of Grace song, title, and author for almost 27 years. Thanks to lyrics on the internet, I have finally traced it to you after having only heard that one chorus line for one brief moment all that time ago. Why can't I purchase the song or album...or even just hear it sung so that I can know if it is as powerful and riveting as I remember?

Thought we'd lost you And your crazy beat Somewhere on the streets Of Modern America That beautiful, dark, blue-indigo music A lighthouse through many dark nights And then you were gone I looked for you And you were gone. Last month I looked again And there you were With new work, not one, but two Even more richly crafted and Marvelous, Magical. Thank you thank you thank You.

Thank you so much Phillip. That brought tears. I hadn't seen this, but did today. Bless you for those words.

Wendy, really enjoyed reading your 'blog'. A beautifully written piece of life story that is such good reading. "Wendy Wall" would be one of my most played CDs of all time. Interesting to read you reflecting on whether success can just be measured by numbers eg. how many millions of CDs sold. In your case, I don't think so. You have written and performed some of the most beautiful music ever recorded and this greatness you have achieved stands independently of anything else. Thank you.

I had your Real Love CD back when I lived in Santa Barbara over 15 years ago. Somehow lost it in the many moves since. I'm so happy to have found your music again! Can't wait to turn my german friends on to it!

i can list on one hand the songs i have heard once and liked immediately in my life. What was unique about Dig That Crazy Beat was that both myself and my best friend had the exact same reaction when hearing Dig That Crazy Beat playing in a shop in Los Angeles. We thus approached the shopkeeper and asked, "Who is that singing?" When we were told "Wendy Wall" (who's that?) we went to the music store and bought her cassette tape. A second unusual experience occured...unlike most albums where i might like one or two of the songs, the Wendy Wall cassette had all really enjoyable songs..remarkable lyrics of a poetic, sensitive, philosophical and observant woman; nice tunes with unusually appealing instrumentals and an inviting voice easy to sing along with. Over the years i have tried to find Wendy Wall and her songs online without much success. I am very happy to see she has 3 songs on youtube and a nice, user-friendly website as well as a facebook page, I am happy to see she has continued writing and performing. I would like to see Living in Love is Living in a State of Grace on youtube. It really surprises me that she is not more widely known, she and her band are a musical phenomenon.

Hi Wen, The story "The Mortgage Mess" had me riveted. I never knew you to be that kind of writer, but there it is. Awesome... Doreen

Yes John. Thanks for asking. I did do a cover of Time of the Season for the China Beach Soundtrack album, just after my first record was released. Rob Fraboni produced it, Baker Lee and the band played on it and my good friend and former bandmate, Ellie Sarty, sang background vocals. Fun session.
